IANA Numbering Services SLA Development Archive 

The IANA Numbering Services SLA was developed by the five RIR communities as part of the IANA Stewardship Transition. To ensure transparency, each draft of the proposed SLA and any comments were recorded and made available to the public.

29 May 2016 v.5.2 The NRO agreed with ICANN staff to remove any references to an Annex as the description in Article 4.3 is sufficient for the purposes of the SLA.

For the sake of clarity, this document shows tracked changes between SLA v5.2 and SLAv5.1 draft.

This document shows the public comments on SLA v5 as well as the RIR Legal team’s responses.

20 April 2016  v.5.1 After discussions with ICANN staff, v5 of the SLA was updated to clarify the “Condition Precedent” definition and update administrative items (i.e. AFRINIC address, signatories, etc.)

 

17 March 2016  v5.0 v5 of the SLA was published after result of ICANN’s comments on v4 and additional feedback received during ICANN 55 in Marrakech, this fifth draft of the SLA was open for public comments until 15 April 2016.
25 February 2016 v4.0  A fourth draft of the SLA was published on 25 February. The NRO invited ICANN to sign this draft of the SLA.
30 October 2015  v3.0 A third draft of the SLA was published on 30 October 2015. The NRO invited ICANN’s legal staff to provide comments by November 30th 2015.
6 August 2015 v2.0 A second draft of the SLA was published on 6 August 2015. It was open for public comments until 31 August 2015.
1 May 2015 v1.0 A first draft of the SLA was published on 1 May 2015. It was open for public comments until 14 June 2015.
