Contribute to IGF 2016 IPv6 Best Practice Forum

The Number Resource Organization is a supporter of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) IPv6 Best Practices Forum (BPF IPv6), which will present again this year during IGF 2016.

We encourage organizations with IPv6 experience to contribute to this valuable community effort. This year’s BPF focuses on the commercial and economic aspects of IPv6 adoption: cost and return on investments and the elements that make up a positive business case to deploy IPv6.

IPv6 is a technical protocol but the decision to adopt IPv6 is not only a technical one, economic factors play an important role. If your organization has deployed IPv6, we invite you to share your insights by completing the form: IGF2016 – Best Practice Forum IPv6 – ‘Understanding the commercial and economic incentives behind a successful IPv6 deployment’

By compiling case studies on business cases and economic factors behind IPv6 adoption as a best practices document for the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in 2016, it will provide an opportunity for a wide range of stakeholders to understand IPv6, including those outside the technical community. The contributions will be discussed by participants of IGF IPv6 Best Practice Forum, and will be reflected in the output document where appropriate. The output document will be published following the meeting on the IGF website.
