On 7 March 2012, John Curran, Chair of the Number Resource Organization (NRO) wrote to The Honorable Dr. Hamadoun I. Touré, Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) expressing the NRO’s interest in participating in the World Telecommunication Policy Forum (WTPF) and to offer the assistance of Mr. Paul Wilson, Director General, APNIC and Ms. Cathy Handley, Executive Director Government Affairs, ARIN as participants in the WTPF Expert Group.
