Due to recent changes in leadership at both AFRINIC and the RIPE NCC, the NRO Executive Council (EC) has adjusted its role rotation schedule for the remainder of 2019 and for the coming two years.
As of 15 November 2019, Oscar Robles, CEO LACNIC, will assume the roles of NRO Chair and the ICANN Empowered Community Decisional Participant Representative. As the incoming Vice Chair/Secretary in 2020, John Curran, ARIN CEO, will assume the role of ICANN Empowered Community Administration Representative as of this date. All other roles will remain the same for the remainder of 2019.
In 2020 the NRO EC roles are as follows:
LACNIC: Chair and ICANN Empowered Community Decisional Participant Representative.
ARIN: Vice Chair/Secretary and ICANN Empowered Community Administration Representative.
APNIC: Treasurer.
In 2021, the NRO EC roles are as follows:
RIPE NCC: Chair and ICANN Empowered Community Decisional Participant Representative.
LACNIC: Vice Chair/Secretary and ICANN Empowered Community Administration Representative.
ARIN: Treasurer.
