Let’s identify by content rather than advocate, as the advocates are actually the other way around…  Paul (and others) have advocated in favor of simply “arbitration,” while Alan (and others) have advocated on behalf of the full text about Bermuda.  A third faction, that seems to no longer have traction, was advocating for “arbitration in a neutral venue.”

A lot of the editing work here is going back and forth on the issues you’re clobbering each other on.  If you discuss them on-list and achieve consensus first, then we only need to apply an edit once, rather than going back and forth so many times.
