[CRISP-TEAM] Draft Announcement to IANAXFER : Internet Number Community IANA Stewardship Proposal submitted to the ICG

CRISP Team,
Please find below the draft annoucement to be sent to the IANAXFER list
once we have completed the submission to the ICG.
One point I would like to particularly draw to you attention and consult
is the part which mentions about endorsements and comments from the
community for the proposal.
According to my memory, this was consensus within the CRISP Team to do
this, based on the comment from Andrew Dul, how we measure support for
the final proposal.
I would like to double check if we are all happy to do this and we want
be careful in setting community expectations on this part, not to start
whole discusssions about the proposal again, which is not constructive.
(and if we agree, do we want to set an indication of the timeline?)

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce, the Consolidated RIR IANA Stewardship
Proposal (CRISP) Team has submitted the Internet numbers community's
response to the Request For Proposals, issued by the IANA Stewardship
Coordination Group (ICG).
We would like to thank all members of the Internet number community, who
have contributed in this process and have shared your input.
The CRISP Team have considered all comments expressed on
<ianaxfer at nro.net> mailing list before the deadline of UTC23:59 12th Jan
2015, and have incorporated the following key points in the proposal:
- The Review Committee selection
Clarified Review Committee selection is expected to be conducted in
open, bottom up and inclusive manner, with equal representation
from each RIR region.
- Development of SLA
Clarified the RIRs are expected to consult the RIR
communities during the drafting process
- The contract fee
Clarified the contract fee is based on costs incurred by the IANA
operator in providing the IANA numbering service.
- Editorial Changes
All editorial suggestions from community members where consensus was
confirmed within the CRISP Team to address, and any other changes of
editorial nature agreed by the CRISP Team
No changes are made to the basic elements of the proposal and all of he
above changes addresses to have further clarity in the proposal elements.
While we have completed the submission of the proposal to the ICG, the
CRISP Team continues to welcome endorsements and comments from the
community for the proposal, as an indication of community support for
the final proposal.
