CRISP Team review on Updated Third Draft SLA for IANA Numbering Services
The CRISP Team share below, our review of the Updated Third Draft SLA for IANA Numbering Services is published for calling for comment from ICANN.
In addition to the contents of the Third Draft SLA, the CRISP Team supports the transparent process the RIRs have adopted in the development of the SLA.
We believe this process, including the current phase after the end of public comment period, of publishing updated version(s) during the negotiations between ICANN and RIRs, builds credibility that the SLA has been developed under the transparent and open process. We trust the RIRs continue to maintain this transparency throughout this process.
We are looking forward to the finalization of the SLA, which both RIRs and ICANN agree, and consistent with the number community proposal.

Review of the Third Draft:
---------------------------
We confirm that the CRISP Team observes no inconsistencies in the Updated Third Draft SLA with the number community proposal.
- We reviewed the changes made in each Article in the third version, and support the changes as helpful clarifications.
- A more detailed confirmations were made on the changes in "Article 11: Continuity of operations" and "Article 12: Intellectual property rights and rights over data".
We confirmed that both changes were made for pragmatic reasons and it maintains the objectives of each article.
- In addition, the CRISP Team observes no changes are made on "Article 9: Failure to perform" and "Article 10: Term and termination", which are important for the SLA principles.
