As a follow up on this -

Please feel below a draft statement and let me know if you have any feedback.

I would like this to be shared to CWG, so they know we are planning to share our observation.
There are several speculations about the numbers community position, and some people speaking on our behalf (with good intentions) but we need to accurately express our position in our own words.

I'd like to share this at 01:00am UTC on Mon 10th Aug, so that they can wait to hear from us before making further speculations about our opinion.

As you can see, this is just a placeholder that we'll come back with comments. 
I have not mentioned anything about details of the legal input/any other points to raise on IPR as it would be better to communicate this after our CRISP call.

Dear Jonathan, Lise and CWG members,


The CRISP Team have started sharing observations on the legal input from Sidely. Once we have completed summarising our obervation, we would like to share it with the CWG, together with any general observation on IPR on the IANA trademark and iana.org domain.

We acknowledge the suggested way forward discussed at the CWG call on Thursday 6 August, which was shared by Jonathan and Lise.
We will discuss this suggestion as well and will get back to you through Jonathan and Lise if we have any feedback.
