Thank you to Craig for putting an excellent draft together and doing so swiftly. A couple of points to add as the team reviews this document:

(1) ARIN has submitted a draft proposal to its own community for review and comment last month (a copy of which is attached for ease of this team's review);
(2) ARIN’s draft proposal shares the thought of a need for adequate service levels and that there should be specific service levels and performance reporting which can be incorporated into a proposed agreement draft; and
(3) ARIN currently has no objection to inclusion of some of the matters contemplated by an AOC to be included within a proposed agreement for services.

Thanks,
-Michael

Subject: [CRISP-TEAM] Current Status of RIR proposals - as discussed

At the first teleconference call yesterday, I outlined the current status of the three proposals that have been circulated amongst APNIC, RIPE NCC and LACNIC communities for discussions. I also mentioned the discussions which took place last week between the RIR staff members of the CRISP team, and the position we reached, in attempting to reach a position that may be acceptable to all.

As promised, I have prepared the attached document, which hopefully, accurately records the current situation. I hope that this may form a basis for further discussions.

Regards
Craig
